I want to introduce you to....Tiramisu

Stories are told about Venice’s courtesans who worked in a brothel above a restaurant in Treviso, Italy where it is said the modern day Tiramisu was “born”. According to legend, the ladies needed a “pick me up” to energize themselves after working so hard through the day. Lah Tee Dah!

The basic ingredients for authentic Tiramisu don’t vary much: Mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, ladyfingers, espresso coffee, liquor (just a hint), cream and cocoa. It is our opinion that the Tiramisu served at Mirko Pasta is the freshest, lightest, most delicate and most delectible dessert around.
